	. *Callophyllis laciniata* (Hudson) Kuetzing (9cm) (=Fucus laciniatus Hudson, =Callophyllis flabellata Crouan & Crouan) .
	Etymo: gr: beautiful leaf; lat: hemmed Etymo: gr: bella foglia; lat: orlata
	. Fan-like deeply divided thallus, with a 2mm stipe fixed to the substrate by a basal disk. More or less dichotomic branches, up to 2cm wide, terminating in round- tip, palmate lobes; fringed margin with small proliferations carrying reproductive organs, up to 25cm. Carmine red. The gametophyte and the sporophyte are similar. Probably perennial species, found year round in biotopes exposed to strong streams; from -15 to -50m. Tallo a forma di ventaglio, fittamente diviso, con un breve stipo di 2mm fissato al substrato da un disco basale. Ramificazioni più o meno dicotomiche, larghe fino a 2cm, terminanti in lobi palmati con estremità arrotondate; margini sfrangiati, con piccole ramificazioni che portano gli organi riproduttivi, altezza fino a 25cm. Colore rosso carminio. Il gametofito e lo sporofito sono simili. Specie probabilmente perennante, si trova lungo tutto il corso dell'anno in ambienti esposti a forti correnti; si trova a profondità comprese tra -15 e -50m. .
	Present in Western Mediterranean (Alboran Sea, Balearic Islands, Algeria, Naples, Sicily) Adriatic Sea, North-Eastern Atlantic (from Norway to Morocco) North-Western Atlantic. Presente in Mediterraneo (Mare di Alboran, Isole Baleari, Algeria, Golfo di Napoli, Sicilia), Adriatico, Atlantico Nord-orientale (dalla Norvegia al Marocco) Atlantico Nord-occidentale. .
