	. Rissoella verruculosa (Bertoloni) Agardh (12cm) (=Fucus verruculosus Bertoloni, =Grateulopia verruculosa Greville) .
	Etymo: dedicated to A.Risso, botanist; lat: covered of small warts Etymo: dedicata ad A.Risso, botanico; lat: coperta di piccole verruche
	. Ribbon-like, simple or branched thallus, with characteristic serrated and undulated margins; gum-like consistence; 5 to 15cm high, 1 to 2cm wide Yellow to brownish yellow. The gametophyte and the sporophyte are similar. The incrusting base is perennial, while branches can be found from winter to early summer; the thalli grow in a narrow belt, just superior to Lithophyllum lichenoides zone, at an altitude corresponding to the medium height of waves: up to 1.5m over the surface on vertical exposed rocks. Calcifuge species, always absent on calcareous rocks. Tallo nastriforme, semplice o ramificato, con caratteristici margini seghettati e ondulati; consistenza gommosa; altezza tra 5 e 15cm, larghezza da 1 a 2cm Colore da giallo a giallo brunastro. Il gametofito e lo sporofito sono simili. La base crostosa è perennante, mentre le ramificazioni si trovano tra l'inverno e l'estate; i talli crescono in una stretta fascia, appena superiore alla zona colonizzata da Lithophyllum lichenoides, ad un'altezza sulla superficie che corrisponde all'altezza media delle onde: fino a 1.5m sopra la superficie su rocce verticali esposte. Specie calcifuga, non si trova mai su rocce calcaree. .
